Article L813-2 du Code de l'énergie
Pour être regardé comme autoconsommé, l'hydrogène doit être produit et consommé sur un même site, dit “ d'autoproduction ”, par un ou des producteurs et un ou des consommateurs, liés entre eux, le cas échéant, au sein d'une même personne morale.
L'hydrogène autoconsommé peut l'être soit instantanément, soit après une période de stockage sur le même site.
