230. Interruption of limitation period

The time-limit set by Article 1648 of the Civil Code may be interrupted for the reasons set out in Articles 2240 to 2246 of the Civil Code, as well as by an application for legal aid submitted to the legal aid office before the expiry of the time-limit . The effect of interruption gave rise to contradictory rulings in case law until it was clarified by the reform of the statute of limitations.
