Directive No 98/5 of 16 February 1998 enables European lawyers practising under their home-country professional title and who have effectively and regularly pursued for a period of at least three years an activity in the host Member State in the law of that State, including EU law, to be treated as a lawyer of the host Member State (Art. 10).
