The Statement of Objections sets a time-limit for the parties concerned to submit their written submissions. The Commission must have regard to the time required for preparation of the submissions and to the urgency of the case in order to set that time-limit, which cannot be less than four weeks and can be extended upon reasoned request (Regulation No 773/2004, Article 17).
