171. The scope of the prohibition

Article L. 442-5 prohibits the sale or the advertising of the resale of goods at a price lower than their actual purchase price, i.e. resale below cost. The prohibition does not apply to the provision of services. It is aimed at the resale of any products in an unaltered state.
