384. Obstructing the investigation

Failure on the part of companies or private individuals to cooperate with the investigating authorities is considered a criminal offense. Persons who obstruct the investigation in any way may be sentenced to two years' imprisonment and/or a fine of EUR 300,000 (Art. L. 450-8 Commercial Code).
