The penalty of two years' imprisonment formerly provided for by former Article L. 213-1 of the Consumer Code (now Article L. 441-1) was not revised by the Hamon Law of 17 March 2014, which merely incorporated it in Article L. 121-6 of the same code, now recodified as Article L. 132-2.
