223. Free bonus

The prohibition of sales with a bonus assumes that it is free. Article L. 121-19 (former Article L. 121-35) of the Consumer Code condemns the provision “free of charge” of another product, good or service. The bonus must therefore be offered with no increase in the usual price of the product or service.
