Appeals against decisions of the ICA General Director

Appeals against decisions of the ICA General Director are brought before the Competition Tribunal (Sections 15 22, 28 and 43 of the 1988 Act). The appeal must be filed within thirty days of receipt of the decision.

Pursuant to Section 39, any litigant injured by a decision of the Competition Tribunal, an interim ruling or a Temporary Permit may appeal against such decision to the Supreme Court, within forty five days of the date on which the notice thereof is received.

Appeals against decisions of the Competition Tribunal

It is possible to appeal before the Supreme Court against judgments rendered by the District Court, which has exclusive jurisdiction over criminal antitrust matters brought by the ICA.
