1106. Appeals against decisions of the COFECE

Before 2013, appeals from decisions of the FCC were filed with the Commission within thirty days of their notification. This procedure was referred to as “recurso de reconsideracion” and was only open to interested parties. Enforcement was stayed pending appeal. An appeal against the decision of the FCC would then be available before the Federal District Courts.
