The Competition Appeal Board (CAB)

The CCCS is Singapore's competition authority. Established on 1 January 2005, it is a statutory board under the authority of the Ministry of Trade and Industry whose task is to administer and enforce the Competition Act (Chapter 50B). In April 2018, the formerly named Competition Commission was entrusted with consumer protection and the enforcement of the unfair trade practices regulations, and was renamed becoming the Competition and Consumer Commission.
