Following the adoption of Act No 1/2002 of 21 February 2002, several regional governments established their own antitrust agencies and drafted statutes. This is the case of Andalucía, Aragón, Canarias (which has set up a Service but no decision-making body), Castilla La Mancha, Castilla y León, Cataluña, Extremadura, Galicia, Madrid, Murcia, País Vasco, and Valencia.
