The Act on Competition Restrictions came into force in 1992 (Act No 480/1992), repealing a previous Act from 1988. Two separate Acts passed in 1992 included provisions establishing the Finnish competition authorities. Later, an Act of 2001 created the Market Court, a new authority with jurisdiction in competition law matters which replaced the Competition Council and the former Market Court. More …
