Under Section 2 and 3 of the Act, the duty to ensure that undertakings comply with competition rules lies with the ACM, which brings together since 1 April 2013, the Competition Authority (Nederlandse Mededingingsautoriteit), the Independent Post and Telecommunications Authority (Onafhankelijke Post en Telecommunicatie Autoriteit) and the Consumer Authority (Consumentenautoriteit).
