Romania repealed its specific State aid control regulations as of 31 December 2006. From this date, EU rules have been directly applicable in Romania and the European Commission has been responsible for the monitoring of State aid schemes.
The Competition Council acts as a contact agent to facilitate relations with the European Commission, State aid providers and beneficiairies. …
