471. Payment of unmatured debts

Any payment, by whatever means, for debts not yet due on the date of payment is void if it has been made since the date on which payments ceased. However, only payments made by the debtor himself whose main purpose is to extinguish his unmatured debts to his creditor are void under Article L. 632-1, I, 3° of the Commercial Code .
