If a private document produced during proceedings is alleged to be false, it will be examined in accordance with Articles 287 to 295 of the Code of Civil Procedure relating to the verification of documents requested as an incidental matter (Art. 299 CPC). In effect, it is for the judge to verify the disputed document, unless he or she can rule without taking it into account .
