Determining the scope of the law is a crucial issue. What are the subjects of the duty of vigilance? In response to this question, Article L. 225-102-4 of the Commercial Code states that compliance with regulations must be guaranteed within the company, those it controls within the meaning of II of Article L. 233-16, whether directly or indirectly, as well as subcontractors or suppliers with whom it has an established business relationship, when these activities are linked to this relationship. The scope of control is therefore very broad.
