The Commission must verify, as far as possible, the accuracy of the information provided by the parties concerned and on which its conclusions are based (Regulation No 2016/1036, Article 6(8)) . For that purpose, it may request the Member States to carry out all necessary checks and inspections, particularly amongst importers, traders and European producers (Regulation No 2016/1036, Article 6(4)). …
