The determination of the existence of dumping implies calculating the dumping margin, defined as the “amount by which the normal value exceeds the export price” (Art. 2(12)). The margin corresponds to the ratio (normal value - export price) / export CIF value (cost, insurance, freight) free of charge at European border before customs clearance x 100.
