2. Proceedings before the Judicial Court and the Commercial Court

Articles 854 to 860 of the Code of Civil Procedure set out the specific provisions for initiating proceedings before the Commercial Court. According to the first of these texts, "the court action is initiated by writ of summons or by filing a joint petition with the court registry." Certain provisions are therefore specific to the writ of summons, while others relate to the joint petition.
