2. Proceedings before the Judicial Court and the Commercial Court

The Law of 23 March 2019 on the 2018-2022 programming and reform for justice merged the district courts (TI) and the regional courts (TGI) into a single jurisdiction: the Judicial Court. This reform simplified and unified the judicial organization by establishing a single court at the departmental level. Before the reform, the TI and TGI had distinct jurisdictions, determined notably by the nature and amount of the dispute. Now, these jurisdictions are centralized within the Judicial Court, thereby facilitating access to justice and the management of disputes.
