5. Civil Enforcement Procedures

Protective seizures of tangible movable property are governed by Articles R. 522-1 to R. 522-14 of the Code of Civil Enforcement Procedures. Their implementation is organized in two phases: one involving the establishment of the protective measure, and the other involving the conversion of the protective measure into seizure and sale (saisie-vente).
