5. Civil Enforcement Procedures

Protective seizure can be applied to claims, excluding work-related remuneration , unless such remuneration is deposited in a bank account . Governed by Articles L. 523-1 and following of the Code of Civil Enforcement Procedures, the implementation of protective seizure on claims is provided for in Articles R. 523-1 to R. 523-10 of the same code. It is organized in two phases, one involving the initiation of the seizure operation, and the other the conversion of the protective measure into a saisie-attribution (third party seizure order)
